lisa's last day

went to see lisa today it was her last day at ngh... so sad and she made me some hand splints for my thumbs, how odd it that.too much computer and writing i guess.. she still is going out with the wonderful matt o.m.g....... how wonderful

long day tired bones

what a great day, busy and tiring but have signed up for some training with the ab and torris straite islander group, can't wait to start, hope i can cope with it all.. have to get some zzzz'zs or the day will start again and i won't be ready...

it is always good to have friends that can cook, i have an unlimited supply of cook books but, a friend who can cook is a great treasure, i have a few treasures, what a great night at cindy's eating dinner and sewing... well not much of that these days.. it is a great blessing to have girl friends...

i am

have been reading the wonderful 2 lime leaves 'I AM " and would just like to take a few minutes to think what i could write, lee and i were talking over lunch about all the most wonderful people who write down such amazing things on these blogs for others to read, so have printed off the recipe for it all and am going to take it on the plane with me in april... now that is the plan it is a while away but for now that will have to do as it is all the time i have.
today we found the most wonderful material shop, yes i again have bought material... for what time i have to sew, very little at the moment..i love the feel of it colour smell touch , fabric i mean one day i will have time to sew again.... oh rave on...
it is still raining, we are averaging an inch a day usually more...
off to bed to dream about fabric..

oh not the birds

yep the snake got the birds, soooo sad i am in deep sadness.... yep we live close to town but i guess there is alot of bush around our home. it is a happy snake though. oh dear.... can't say any more lost for gulp words...will post again another day..... when words return...... gulp

rain rain go away.come back next year .....

yep we have had alot and i mean alot of rain, our tanks are full the garden has been watered for the next year and it is still coming down, there is mold growning everywhere oh rain in the tropics..... but better we have some than none..
s has gone to thursday island, what an adventure it was so wonderful having her for that time not that i saw much of her, but enough to have girl things around the house,infact all over the house.. and after having 3 sons it was nice..
the deck is going up work in progress, it should be lovely when it is finished..
to sit and hear the birds. and the neighbours dog bark bark bark but back to the birds. looking forward to the party on the deck.
there is always an other job waiting. but i love living here..it is a good life
