one day at a time sweet jesus.....

yep one day at a time, life goes on. the sun comes up and i am off to poona tomorrow i am on holidays, had better not forget that as they will be gone so fast.. and then it is back to the kaos... today morning tea with anj watson and lee how cool is that. yesterday morning tea with roz who is off to nepal soon. and a stamp party at the boss's at night... the days are full which is great, i start the day thinking about a's family and end it the same way.. but life goes on....

a light gone out

21st oct aaron died.... life as we all know it particularly his family will always be different than it was ment to be... nearly 26... a passion for speed.. with his dad riding together on his bike.. in one short minute it was all over..
and today the sun came up again, and the day started again and we all tried to get on with life, a new life with out aaron big blonde and blue eyed.. what a week

toes in the sand..

spent the day walking with my dear friend on the beach solving the problems of the world. great to have the comfort of a friend who has know you from your youth i don't have many of those as i was shifted around a fair bit as a kid.. some one who you have an emotional connection with one that has been thru alot of growing up stuff... bad and horrid ... and looking back we both survived... what a great day...
now i am packing my beach bag, i am off

a blast from the past....

how life never seems to be dull... i have a friend staying with me from canada.. who has met up with a former love.. and is once again with this partner after 35years..and most probably should have been with him all her life the decisions we make in our youth that make our life what it is, to love someone to let them go and then find them again.. it is a beautiful story... i am off to herron island for a few days cant wait i am so tired my bones ache... i will be back in a week..

holidays..

this is the last days work before i have 3 weeks holidays, i can't remember the last time i had 3 weeks off all at once with no particular reason, just to take a road trip with the 8th wonder, only 8 hours of work and 100 hours of paper work to go... yer i can do it...

wedding cake..

when i work out why i can't seem to get a photo onto this space.... i will put a picture of the latest wedding cake by the fantastic .... peagreenboat.... cake company.. that was make for amanda and steve... a beautiful woman inside and out.. what a fantastic wedding we had a hoot.. and the 170 cup cakes and two teir cutter ... that kept us up most of friday night was really wonderful. now i need to sleep.... ready for work tomorrow..

day one.....

oh what font will i use... first big decision.... i am nervous...
day one in becoming not just a reader of blogs but a real blogger... one who people send mail too... i have the day off... so can spend an hour not just reading blogs but writing one.. i got a wonderful packet from kirsty from 2lime leaves yesterday thought i would jump through the computer,, a beautiful bag heart and strawberry and when i know how to attach picky's you'll all be able to see it.... oh but that is it for today i am off to lunch ... i am exhausted coffee with a good friend should perk me up happy days m
