30th jan.... the year continues

vb has bought a boat, that is it he will never come home now.. t,i, forever i am sure that they didn't mention that this would happen in the only have sons manual for mothers..no i don't think so.. it sometimes is too hard...
oh well 10 weeks now and we are off... off to the colswolds and betric potters cottage... and italy and coffee in st marks square..not a bad way to drown my sorrows.. now i will have another glass of red and put my feet up before i have to deal with another day..

2008 has arrived

there is never a famine or a feast. last year we stayed at home this year we had several invites i feel blessed. we were privileged to go to janette and william with our dear friends marg and bruce. we were sort of pleased to see this year out together, one we will never forget so the chance to be together to do it was a bonus, there are no new years resolutions i rather think that just making the most of each day to be true to your self and your beliefs, is a better option.it has been a giant of a year.so many people to thank and be grateful that they have shared your life, or that you have been invited into there lives......but that is life and we had the most wonderful new years eve after going to jen and dougs off to golden beach to a wonderful seafood feast and to see the new year in drinking moet and being with wonderful folk....
vb an sam are off to thursday island tomorrow or vb is... sam soon. tris is coming back from goldcoast. yah.. j bought a new girl for us to meet............ the circle continues, life goes on

2008

ready or not here it comes, vb and s are off to thursday island. what a pack up job t is coming back to the coast...j has a new girlfriend, it is our 29th wedding anniversary and the 8th wonders birthday, no wonder i am tired, and we have put in a hectic christmas, but wouldn't change a thing, happy new year

chrissy cake..

on of my clients made me the most fantastic home made christmas cake ever... can't beleive it , i have such a passion for fruit cake well good ones that is and this is a beauty. and it is iced how cool is that..
i have spent the day on the computer and haven't see a person all day, the paper work is just unreal and really i didn't achieve much..
not many sleep till christmas and i see my boys. that is really what it is all about i can't wait for the big lugs to walk through the door, i am so excited about seeing them that i feel sick.. i think this is the next stage of having sons.. waiting for them to return to the nest.. and i wait..

car ride

last week lee and i went on a little car trip to see the margaret olley exhibiton at the philip bacon gallery in brisbane, what an adventure, i felt so emotional seeing all those olley's in one place it makes my heart skip a beat.. such colour, if i win alot of money what would you buy, i would buy an olley...

christmas

i love christmas every thing about it, my husband on the other hand doesn't he never has but that doesn't stop me from being over jolly. you can never have enough tinsel i love the christmas cards shops paper bells you name it, i bought a simple tree from ikea i have a single red bird on it, soon my sons will be coming home, that really is what it is all about seeing them walk through the door, tall beautiful boys, i hope you all have a wonderful christmas
